Story
Natural burial grounds provide the most eco-friendly manner of caring for our dead. Buried in a biodegradable casket or shroud, we nourish the earth that fed us through life. Above ground, the land is restored to a natural state and our presence ensures the land is protected forever. There are hundreds of natural burial grounds in the US and UK. Most people don’t know about the option of natural burial. We will change that, by spreading awareness and harnessing demand.
With your help we will tell people there’s an eco-friendly option at end of life. We will advocate to municipalities, create materials to educate the public and support local community initiatives to establish natural burial grounds.
