Help support the project that the Centre for Community Housing Transformation called “the future of housing.”
Housing has become unaffordable for more of us than ever, and at the same time, we need to drastically change how we live on our planet to ensure its sustainability. Meet the project that brings collaborative solutions to both of these wicked problems with Indigenous knowledge, community insights, and wild opportunity.
Our project partner, the Glassworks Cooperative, purchased 46 acres of land in Owen Sound, Ontario upon which to build a village of ~300 ecological homes with ~100 employment opportunities, regenerative agriculture, and sharing systems that both grow community and shrink our ecological footprint. From car sharing and co-working spaces, to a community kitchen and shared stewardship of the preserved wildlands, this project will help re-define how we can support one another, centering care and well being into every inch of the design.
Your contribution will help to bring this vision to reality.
