New Project: Help Save 5,000 Acres of Farmland in Halton

We have partnered with Stop Sprawl Halton in a fight to save 5,000 acres of prime farmland. The race is on to convince at least 13 of Halton’s regional councillors to vote against an urban boundary expansion. Instead, we want Halton to invest in green and walkable communities with access to public transit and local food.

The Halton Regional Council votes February 9th on the preferred growth plan for the next 30 years. You can help us protect vital farmland from development – learn more and donate here!
