FEBRUARY 24, 2022 – Crowdfunding has been in the news a lot in the last couple of weeks – and it hasn’t all been good publicity. Last Monday, our president Burkhard Mausberg posed the question, “Is Crowdfunding Becoming a Tool of Evil?” in his op-ed on the freedom protests in Ottawa.

We want to reassure our partners and donors that Small Change Fund always diligently screens our campaigns. We are committed to doing our part to make sure crowdfunding is used for good. Notably, we were the first crowdfunding platform to pre-register with FINTRAC last week.

Small Change Fund is focused on the positive change that crowdfunding can bring about. And with the help of our dedicated partners and passionate donors we continue to proudly use our platform as the next step in good change.
