Sprawl: It’s Costing You More Than You Think

MAY 9, 2022 – Next Tuesday, May 17th our partners at the Simcoe County Greenbelt Coalition are hosting an online panel discussion on the harmful effects of urban sprawl. The discussion will cover the impacts of sprawl on our health, community affordability and climate action. 

Small Change Fund President, Burkhard Mausberg, will be among the panel speakers. Burkhard is the author of an award-winning book on the Greenbelt and an expert on this Ontario treasure. 

“Every acre of the Greenbelt is worth keeping,” says Burkhard. “It doesn’t make sense to pass judgment on which acres of Greenbelt land are worth protecting.”
