New Project: Wetlands not Warehouses – Save the Garner Marsh

MARCH 30, 2022 – We are partnering with Save our Streams Hamilton to protect the Garner Marsh in Ancaster, Ontario from destruction. 

The Hamilton Conservation Authority (HCA) denied an application permit to develop the marsh last year. Now the developer is bringing their request to the Ontario Land Tribunal in an attempt to override the HCA’s decision and build a warehouse complex on vital wetland habitat. 

You can help defend 1,300 crucial acres, as well as the HCA’s decision to protect this land, by supporting the campaign.
