We carried out on-the-water clean-up activities to protect Lake Winnipeg from the dangers of toxic algae blooms. Algae blooms threaten water quality of Lake Winnipeg and human health. Funding went towards scientific research, water education in schools, and innovative stewardship projects to safeguard this natural treasure.
