New Project: Agency for Water

SEPTEMBER 29, 2021 – We are proud to partner with Wellington Watcher Watchers on a new project to support Indigenous led water governance. This project begins with a pilot “Residency” and will support Waasekom, who is Turtle Clan Anishinaabe from Saugeen First Nation and the Kettle & Stoney Point First Nations, in his mission to protect water. Waasekom is working towards water justice and fostering the reemergence of traditional Indigenous governance.
