Congratulations, Jacqueline!
OCTOBER 18, 2021 – We’re happy to congratulate Jacqueline Lee-Tam on her new role as co-director with our partners at the Climate Justice Organizing Hub, an organization which provides needs-based support for grassroots activists. Jacqueline is a strong advocate for an equitable planet and community care. Her diverse advocacy experience includes pipeline resistance, fossil fuel divestment and mutual aid.
“It’s a gift and a huge privilege to be doing this work,” says Jacqueline, “Reimagining how support can flow to the grassroots level is no easy feat; it’s a challenge that is deeply worthwhile and nourishing.”
Jacqueline currently resides in Tiohtiá:ke (Montreal) with her dog, Luna. Just in time for Halloween, she revealed she has “witchy skills” when it comes to fitting leftovers into Tupperware containers – she gets a perfect fit every time!
Keep an eye out for an upcoming series of fall webinars with the Climate Justice Organizing Hub, taking place under two categories: Structure & Strategy, and Navigating Conflict & Anti-Oppression. You can also help us support the Hub and their work towards climate justice.
