New Project: Protection of an Environmentally Sensitive Wetland in Bracebridge

JUNE 7, 2022 – We are partnering with South Bracebridge Environmental Protection Group Inc to defend 443 acres of wetlands and environmentally sensitive lands in Bracebridge, Ontario from development. 

The Bracebridge Town Council is in favour of developing this land for Muskoka Royale College. However, the Council and District of Muskoka have neglected to request crucial studies, including an Ontario Wetlands Evaluation Systems Study. The area is home to a recorded 204 species, 20 of which are Species-At-Risk and a further seven Endangered Species.
