At last night’s JUNO Awards, singer-songwriter and longtime environmental advocate Sarah Harmer received the prestigious Humanitarian Award. Sarah is Co-Chair of the Reform Gravel Mining Coalition, our partners in Demand[ing] A Moratorium Now on gravel mining in Ontario.

If you missed the broadcast, you can check out the feature on Sarah from 2h 32 min – 2h 45m. Sarah gives a beautiful and inspiring speech and her work is even co-introduced by Small Change Fund’s own Mike Balkwill!

Congratulations to Sarah on this well-deserved award!
